Triethyl Ester

Triethyl Ester are ethyl esters of carboxylic acids. Ethyl alcohol reacts with different carboxylic acids to generate triethyl ester. Since the carboxylic acids contain three carboxylic groups, therefore each of these esters contains three ester groups. Typically, the manufacturers and suppliers in China offer tributyl ester including triethyl citrate (TEC), acetyl triethyl citrate (ATEC). Factories use them as non-toxic plasticizer and cold-resistant plasticizer for PVC and cellulose resin.
