Dioctyl Ester

Dioctyl Ester are octyl esters of carboxylic acids. Octyl alcohol reacts with different carboxylic acids to generate dioctyl ester. Since the carboxylic acids contain two carboxylic groups, therefore each of these esters contains two ester groups. Typically, the manufacturers and suppliers in China offer dioctyl ester including dioctyl adipate, dioctyl terephthalate and dibutyl sebacate. Factories use them as cold-resistant plasticizer and PVC plasticizer.
