Dimethyl Ester

Dimethyl Ester are methyl esters of carboxylic acids. Methyl alcohol reacts with different carboxylic acids to generate dimethyl ester. Since the carboxylic acids contain two carboxylic groups, therefore each of these esters contains two ester groups. Typically, the manufacturers and suppliers in China offer dimethyl ester including dimethyl adipate, dimethyl glutarate, dimethyl succinate. Factories use them as solvent for coating and pharmaceutical intermediate.
