Diisobutyl Ester

Diisobutyl Ester are isobutyl esters of carboxylic acids. Isobutyl alcohol reacts with different carboxylic acids to generate diisobutyl ester. Since the carboxylic acids contain two carboxylic groups, therefore each of these esters contains two ester groups. Typically, the manufacturers and suppliers in China offer diisobutyl ester including diisobutyl adipate and diisobutyl DBE (DBE-IB). Factories use them as coalescing aid and high-boiling point solvent.
