Diethyl Ester

Diethyl Ester are ethyl esters of carboxylic acids. Ethyl alcohol reacts with different carboxylic acids to generate diethyl ester. Since the carboxylic acids contain two carboxylic groups, therefore each of these esters contains two ester groups. Typically, the manufacturers and suppliers in China offer diethyl ester including diethyl fumarate, diethyl maleate and diethyl phthalate. Factories use them as plasticizer for cellulose resins, comonomers and pesticides.
