Dibutyl Ester

Dibutyl ester are butyl esters of carboxylic acids. Butyl alcohol reacts with different carboxylic acids to generate dibutyl ester. Since the carboxylic acids contain two carboxylic groups, therefore each of these esters contains two ester groups. Typically, the manufacturers and suppliers in China offer dibutyl ester including dibutyl adipate, dibutyl fumarate, dibutyl sebacate and dibutyl phthalate. Factories use them as paint solvents and PVC plasticizers.
