Comonomer

What are Comonomer

Comonomer refer to small molecules that can polymerize with the same or other molecules. It is the raw materials for synthesizing polymer compounds. These monomers participate in the polymerization process with other monomers in chemical polymerization reactions to form high molecular polymers. For example, vinyl chloride and caprolactam are common comonomers. In a copolymerization reaction, two or more monomers participate in the polymerization to form a polymer containing two or more monomer units. People called this polymer as a copolymer.
