Orang menghasilkannya melalui satu siri tindak balas polikondensasi antara sebatian yang mengandungi dua kumpulan hidroksil fenolik (seperti bisphenol A atau polifenol atau poliol lain) dan epiklorohidrin. Orang sering menambah nama monomer yang berbeza di hadapan resin epoksi. Bisphenol A resin epoksi diperbuat daripada bisphenol A dan epiklorohidrin. Orang ramai memanggil proses ini sebagai Sintesis resin epoksi bisphenol A.      <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-synthesis-of-bisphenol-a-epoxy-resin\">Sintesis resin epoksi bisphenol A<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"\">Sintesis bisphenol A<br\/> Bisphenol A ialah bahan mentah yang penting untuk menyediakan resin epoksi.<br\/> Fenol dan aseton terpeluwap untuk membentuk 2,2-(4,4&#8242;-dihydroxydiphenyl) propana, dirujuk sebagai bisphenol A atau diphenol propana.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Sintesis epiklorohidrin dan resin epoksi<br\/> Pertama, 3-kloropropilena bertindak balas dengan asid hipoklorus HOCL untuk menghasilkan 1,3-dikloropropanol. Kedua, ia bertindak balas dengan natrium hidroksida untuk menghasilkan epiklorohidrin melalui tindak balas penggantian nukleofilik intramolekul. Orang ramai mengawal tahap pempolimeran dengan melaraskan nisbah molar bisphenol A kepada epiklorohidrin untuk memenuhi keperluan kegunaan yang berbeza.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-properties-of-bisphenol-a-epoxy-resin\">Sifat resin epoksi bisphenol A<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"\">Resin epoksi linear boleh menjana struktur rangkaian tiga dimensi dengan menambah agen pengawetan. Ejen pengawetan yang biasa digunakan ialah amina atau anhidrida karboksilik, seperti trietilenatriamin, maleik anhidrida dan anhidrida phthalik. Fungsi agen pengawetan adalah untuk membuka dua kumpulan epoksi aktif di hujung rantai resin epoksi, supaya molekul linear boleh saling silang antara satu sama lain untuk membentuk struktur tiga dimensi. Oleh kerana terdapat kumpulan hidroksil, ikatan eter, dan kumpulan epoksi dalam struktur resin epoksi, ia mempunyai daya ikatan yang sangat tinggi. Oleh kerana aktiviti kimia kumpulan epoksi, orang boleh menggunakan pelbagai sebatian yang mengandungi hidrogen aktif untuk membuka cincin, menyembuhkan dan pautan silang untuk membentuk struktur rangkaian, jadi ia adalah resin termoset.    <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-advantages-and-uses\">Kelebihan dan kegunaan  <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"\">Bisphenol A resin epoksi mempunyai sifat ikatan yang sangat kuat. Dan ia boleh mengikat pelbagai bahan dengan kuat, seperti logam, seramik, kaca, kayu, dan lain-lain, yang biasanya dikenali sebagai &#8220;gam universal&#8221;. <br\/>Tiada buih terhasil apabila resin epoksi diawet. Dan pengecutan adalah kecil selepas pengawetan, dan kekuatan mekanikal adalah tinggi. Ia mempunyai sifat penebat elektrik yang baik dan tahan terhadap asid, alkali, dan garam. Produk berlamina yang dibuat dengan gentian kaca sebagai pengisi adalah lebih kuat daripada bahan berlamina fenolik yang sepadan. Juga mereka lebih kuat daripada resin poliester tak tepu.
