Dimethyl Phthalate (DMP), CAS No 131-11-3, also named as phthalic acid dimethyl ester, is a dimethyl ester of phthalic acid. DMP is a plasticizer with strong solubility to a variety of resins, because of compatibility with a variety of cellulose resins, rubber, vinyl resins. 4. Application & Advantages

Since dimethyl phthalate has good film formation, adhesion and water resistance, so, we usually use it in combination with diethyl phthalate in the production of cellulose acetate films, varnishes, transparent papers and molding powders. Factories also use it in the manufacture of nitrocellulose. In addition, people use this product as a plasticizer for nitrile gum, and the product has good cold resistance. When we use dimethyl phthalate with other plasticizers, it can overcome the shortcomings of high volatility and low temperature crystallization. People can also use it not only as a solvent for mosquito repellent oil (crude oil) and DDT, but also as a gas chromatography fixative.

Use iron drum packing. 230kg / barrel. This product should be sealed in a cool and dry place. Firstly, it should be stored in a ventilated and dry place indoors to prevent water intrusion.
