Dimethyl Maleate is a colorless and transparent oily liquid with a relative density of 1.1462. Freezing point -19℃. Boiling point 200.4℃. Refractive index 1.4405. Viscosity (25℃) 3.2mPa·S. Flash point (open cup) 112℃. Easily soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents, partially soluble in toluene and chloroform. In addition, slightly soluble in water. Flammable. Low toxicity.
