Man kann zum Beispiel Triethylcitrat acetylieren, um CAS-Nr. 77 89 4 <a href=\"\" target=\"\" rel=\"\">Acetyltriethylcitrat<\/a> herzustellen. <\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\" class=\"\">Ester k\u00f6nnen mit Grignard-Reagenzien reagieren und terti\u00e4re Alkohole bilden.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Ester sind leichter zu reduzieren als Carbons\u00e4uren. In der Synthese werden Carbons\u00e4uren oft durch Ester zu Alkoholen reduziert. Das am h\u00e4ufigsten verwendete Reduktionsmittel ist Natrium plus Ethanol.
